The MIT Technology Review Innovator of the Year 2016 title has been awarded to Patrycja Wizińska-Socha for the solution enabling examining the well-being of baby which is still in mother’s womb.
– I’m proud that my team’s work and mine has been recognized. The device, which we designed, enables examination of the fetal heart rate and the uterine contraction activity. Results of these two tests give a better chance to assess at an appropriately early stage if there are any threats to the baby’s well-being and swift reaction to eliminate them , says Patrycja Wizińska-Socha, the NESTMEDIC CEO.
