Where does medicine is heading for and what is its condition in particular fields and also what should be the direction of changes in the Polish health care – these are the questions that were addressed during the “Wizja zdrowia – diagnoza i przyszłość” (Vision of Health: Diagnosis and Future) conference to be held on October 3. The representatives of Nestmedic took part in the panel discussing the way start-ups affect health care.
The event held in Warsaw, in more than a dozen specialist panels a few dozens of distinguished speakers took the floor. The goal of the conference, which was sponsored with an honorary patronage of Konstanty Radziwiłł, the Minister of Health, was developing a common ground for indicating directions for development and improvement of the health care system in the period of 2017-2027. Patrycja Wizińska-Socha, the CEO of Nestmedic, and Ligia Kornowska, the Director of the Telemonitoring Medical Center, and the President of Młodzi Menedżerowie Medycyny (Young Medicine Managers Association) spoke during the session themed: “The Vision of Young Medicine Managers: How Start-ups Are Changing Health Care.” The panelists agreed that the future of health care is to depend on new technologies and telemedicine, stressing a special role of the solutions and medical platforms which enable the medical personnel to stay in touch with their patients.
