Pregnabit outran several other technology projects from Poland and the contest jury justified the choice as follows: Nestmedic creates “technologies that can conquer the world”.
The cardiotocography (CTG) test is sometimes necessary at the stage of advanced pregnancy to check if there are no threats to the baby. However, the future mother must visit a hospital to have that test. What if it was possible to perform CTG at home? Two innovators from Wrocław, Anna Skotny and Patrycja Wizińska-Socha, have developed Pregnabit, a device which makes it possible, explain Focus editors, adding that „in comparison to other winners in this edition of the contest, Pregnabit shows more solid business prospects”.
