Nestmedic has received an order for the supply of devices and services to Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) in Finland. This is the result of an agreement concluded in 2018 with a Finnish distributor, Steripolar Oy, as well as a successful pilot implementation of the Pregnabit system at HUS. The order provides for the supply of the teleCTG Pregnabit devices and the licence to use the Pregnabit system.

“This is a very important project in the implementation of the foreign market expansion strategy for the Pregnabit system. Our solution has been appreciated by a specialist hospital in a very demanding market. This is also the outcome of our successful cooperation with a business partner in Finland, Steripolar Oy. With this project we are starting a new chapter in the development of our company on foreign markets, comments Sławomir Bartoszcze, Director of International Expansion at Nestmedic S.A.
Finland is considered to be one of the most advanced markets in the world as far as the implementation of telemedical solutions is concerned. At the same time, it is a country with a substantial level of expenditure on pregnancy healthcare and perinatal care. The annual birth rate in Finland stands at about 50,000. More than 30% of labours take place at HUS – the hospital that now has the teleCTG Pregnabit system on the list of its medical services.
