This week Pregnabit presented the Pregnabit system during the Week of Health and Innovation, in Odense, Denmark. The event specializes in the promotion of innovative solutions for modern healthcare, addressed both to healthcare facilities and individual patients. The healthcare system in Denmark dynamically tests and implements digital health solutions. During this year’s fair, many innovative projects and solutions were presented. Pregnabit was one of them. We have conducted many interesting conversations with potential partners on the Danish market.

As part of the “Week of Health and Innovation” fairs, which took place in Odense, Denmark last week, a competition for the best startups was organized. The Pregnabit team took part and came back with a reward. The jury of the competition, after listening to many presentations of medical startups, awarded the Pregnabit team and our solution – the Pregnabit teleCTG. The jury of the competition were representatives of Venture Capital Foundations, CONNECT Denmark, The Danish Growth Fund, as well as local Business Angels and private investors. The prize in the competition is a dedicated business session with the best advisors in Denmark, gathered in the CONNECT Denmark organization. We have started working on the best use of this unique prize.

Competition “Outstanding Innovations in Polish Health Care – Golden Scalpel 2018” resolved. We’ve found ourselves among the top ten winners. The winners of the competition were chosen by a jury composed of eminent specialists from various fields of medicine. The prizes were awarded on October 10 this year, in Warsaw. It was already the tenth edition of the competition, organized by the editors of “Puls Medycyny”. For years, projects have been evaluated in the field of the invention of a new diagnostic or therapeutic methods, the development of a new strategy related to the organization and management of health care and the modernization of the Polish healthcare system, through the introduction of innovative solutions. The 12-member jury, composed of eminent specialists from various fields of medicine, was guided by the following guidelines in the assessment of the submitted projects:

• contribution to the development of health care in Poland, for the good of the patient,
• the ability to improve the work of medical personnel,
• chances for dissemination of the solution,
• economic aspects.

We are very pleased that Pregnabit teleCTG was among the winners of this year’s edition of the competition. The more so because we were the only company among the winners, other projects were submitted by research teams. The awards gala took place on October 10 in Warsaw. The Pregnabit team was represented by Ligia Kornowska, president of the Telemonitoring Medical Center.
