Pregnabit at medical centres of Medicover Poland
The Nestmedic Group has signed an agreement with one of the leaders in private healthcare in the region. The mobile Pregnabit system for CTG tests will be available at Medicover Poland facilities. This implementation is a run-up for new contracts with international medical chains.  The Nestmedic Group has successfully concluded negotiations with Medicover Poland. As a result, the Telemonitoring Medical Centre, which is a subsidiary of Nestmedic, has signed a pilot agreement with Medicover. 6 Pregnabit devices for the mobile CTG test along with the dedicated platform for display and analysis of teleCTG results will be used by the Scandinavian healthcare chain. The conclusion of negotiations with Medicover Poland is the next stage of the Pregnabit system commercialization. Our partner belongs to an international company that actively implements telemedicine solutions within the system of medical services. Together, we want to set new standards of perinatal care, says Patrycja Wizińska-Socha, CEO and co-founder of Nestmedic S.A.  Originally from Sweden, Medicover is one of the leaders on the market of private healthcare in Central and Easter Europe. Its revenue reached EUR 580 million in 2017, whereof nearly 45% came from locations in Poland, including medical centres as well as 1800 collaborating and partnering facilities. One of them is a multi-speciality private hospital in Warsaw with an obstetrics clinic where 5 thousand children have already been born. Telemedicine innovations such as Pregnabit allow to improve the quality of healthcare. For this reason, Medicover actively seeks and supports such solutions. The mobile CTG offers new possibilities to patients and physicians of Medicover Poland and we believe that very soon such telemedicine solutions will become a medical standard, says Piotr Soszyński, Director for Medical Systems at Medicover Poland. The experience gained through our collaboration with Medicover will give us good grounds for new implementations, including private healthcare chains in Western Europe, explains Patrycja Wizińska-Socha.

Presentation of Pregnabit to gynaecologists and obstetricians in Kenya
On 21–23 February at Sawela Lodge, Kenya, a conference of the Kenya Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society was held. Challenges related to the reproductive health in the 21st century were widely discussed. The representative of the Pregnabit system distributor in Kenya attended the event and presented the teleCTG solution to more than 200 participants. Africa is a large and prospective market for telemedicine and it has serious and urgent needs with respect to equipment and qualified personnel. We are collaborating with a distribution partner in Kenya, so we can reach local medical centres with our information and offer of the teleCTG solution, e.g. by attending such conferences as the one at Sawela Lodge, says Patrycja Wizińska-Socha, CEO at Nestmedic SA. The representatives of Nestmedic will also participate in other events in Kenya. On 20 March, Ligia Kornowska, Head of the Telemonitoring Medical Centre, will attend the Kenya-Poland Health Summit in Nairobi.
