On September 13, a formal gala took place during which participants of the capital market of Central and Eastern Europe were awarded the CEE Capital Markets Awards. We are happy to announce that Nestmedic is the winner in the “Listing of Year” category.
Announced at the InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw (Poland), the Awards distinguished publicly-listed companies who are spearheading the dynamic and fast-paced changes in the CEE region. Nomination in 19 categories were received by companies from Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Lithuania. The winners were chosen by a jury made of representatives of investment funds, stock exchanges, banks and industry media.
– The goal of the CEE Capital Market Awards is to attract more global investors’ attention to the CEE region and to shine a light on the best companies, advisors and institutional investors involved in the CEE capital market for the contribution they make to its development. Nestmedic’s IPO and entering the NewConnect market in June was another step in our long-term development strategy, therefore we are very pleased that capital market professionals recognized our effort and named us the winners in the Listing of Year category. Not only were we recognized for our IPO, but also we turned out to be a significant and valued player, very likely to become the telemedical market leader, not only in Poland but also abroad. This is extremely important for us, especially now that we are starting to sell the Pregnabit system in Poland and look for resellers abroad, says Barbara Załęska, a Board member and Business Development Director in Nestmedic.
This is the third time that CEE Capital Markets Awards has been held, and another is planned for September 2018.
