On 19–22 October, the 17th All-Poland Meeting of Childbirth Schools was held in Kołobrzeg. The conference had 150 participants who discussed the role of the midwife in perinatal care. It was another event where Patrycja Wizińska-Socha, the originator of Pregnabit, gave a lecture on teleCTG and the possibilities that it opens for the obstetrician’s individual work with a pregnant patient. The conference in Kołobrzeg included many interesting lectures, .e.g. by Leokadia Jędrzejewska, the national consultant on nursing in gynaecology and obstetrics. The lecture on the mobile CTG was perfectly suited to the event’s agenda and aroused interest among midwives. We made many valuable contacts, e.g. with Agnieszka Kamińska-Nowak, President of the Polandwide Association of Family Midwives, the provincial consultant on nursing in gynaecology and obstetrics as well as Professor Beata Pięta, President of the Polish Association of Midwives, says Ewelina Bąk, Partner Relationship Manager at Nestmedic. We also took the opportunity to organize a contest where the prize was teleCTG Pregnabit. The device was awarded to Karolina Perlitius, a midwife working at the dynamic and thriving Centre of Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Neonatology in Opole.  

On Saturday (21 Oct), workshops for parents were organized in Warsaw by the Familie.pl portal. As a partner of this event, we presented Pregnabit to several dozen future mums in their 2nd or 3rd trimester and to their partners. Agnieszka Popławska, an midwife collaborating with us, gave a lecture about perinatal care. In the course of extremely interesting and interactive workshops, she managed to present the Pregnabit system and its operation to future parents. She also answered any questions they could have during individual consultations at our stand. We heard numerous queries concerning Pregnabit and perinatal care during the workshops and the entire event. We also organized a contest for female participants where they could win vouchers for a free-of-charge teleCTG Pregnabit test during the POLMED open days to which we invited all future mothers, says Agnieszka Popławska. The next workshop session by Familie.pl will be held in November.

On 19-21 October, the 5th Warsaw International Healthcare Exhibition was held, presenting medical products and devices as well as telemedicine solutions. This event was an opportunity for all participants and visitors to see the teleCTG Pregnabit. The International Healthcare Exhibition EXPO XXI is a business and education event that attracts large numbers of physicians from different fields of specialization, nurses, obstetricians, paramedics and managers of healthcare facilities. Last year, the jury of the accompanying competition awarded the title of the Most Innovative Telemedicine Product to Pregnabit. On the first day of the Exhibition, Patrycja Wizińska-Socha, CEO at Nestmedic, took part in the discussion panel on “Telemonitoring Centre – its role and tasks”. During the entire event, the Nestmedic team was there at the stand to provide all interested visitors with information about our solution.
