We are extremely glad to inform that we have just signed a contract with Medfemina Health Centre. This gynaecology and obstetrics facility based in Wrocław uses cutting-edge medical equipment and highly advanced diagnostic methods. It will now include Pregnabit in its extensive offer. The Centre’s patients will be able to perform the cardiotocography (CTG) test at home. A mobile CTG is a breakthrough in the healthcare for pregnant women. Medfemina provides their patients with comprehensive services at the Centre and at the first private gynaecology and obstetrics hospital in Wrocław. The priorities here include highly qualified staff and innovative solutions. In August, we provided Medfemina with the mobile teleCTG devices. The personnel had the opportunity to test Pregnabit and get to know the operating principles of the mobile CTG as well as the services offered by the Telemonitoring Medical Centre. Pregnabit received positive assessment by both the medical staff and the patients, which resulted in a decision to sign a contract. In the near future, telemedicine will be growing rapidly and we want to contribute to positive changes in the perinatal care standards. As indicated by research, the market of private healthcare services in Poland (which is also a target for our innovative system) is growing dynamically. A report on the market of telemedicine services in Poland in 2017 says that a majority of non-public healthcare entities wish to extend their offer of telemedicine services (68% in 2017). It seems that female patients feel a growing need for access to professional healthcare at all places and all times as well as for health monitoring conveniently at home. Telemedicine solutions such as teleCTG answer this demand in the Polish market. At present, more than 30 medical facilities offer Pregnabit and this number is growing steadily. This innovative system is used by eminent experts in gynaecology and obstetrics as well as opinion leaders in the healthcare sector. Including Medfemina Centre, which has been supporting us with encouraging and constructive comments since the very beginning. Two meetings of specialists in gynaecology and obstetrics took place during the last weekend. On 13–14 October, the following events were held concurrently: the annual All-Poland Congress „Our Gynaecology” and the All-Poland Meeting of Childbirth Schools. The representatives of Nestmedic attended both events and presented the Pregnabit system to around 750 experts participating in the conferences in Warsaw. A wide group of specialists, many valuable lectures and discussions as well as the great opportunity to demonstrate the Pregnabit system to physicians and obstetricians: that is how we can sum up the last weekend in a few words. These two medical conferences held in Warsaw allowed us to interact and make new important contacts in the sector as well as to engage in sales talks, says Konrad Irzyk, Sales Director, Nestmedic. Nestmedic SA has just concluded an agreement with Oxford Pol, a company with over thirty-year experience on the Polish market selling medical equipment. Under the arrangements being a result of the strategy of strengthening distribution channels, Oxford Pol has become an official reseller of Pregnabit, a telemedic system. Oxford Pol’s main business is selling medical equipment for gynecology, obstetrics and cardiology. Initially, the company was an exclusive reseller of the Oxford Instruments’ equipment but today it co-operates with many companies from Europe and the USA. In Poland, it has sold over 2,000 stationary cardiotocographs. From October 2017, Oxford Pol will extend its offer by CTG Pregnabit, a certified telemedic system for monitoring fetal well-being at any place and any time. – As announced, in September, we started selling the Pregnabit system in Poland. We are still developing our distribution channels, both investing our own team, and running talks with selected partners. The agreement with Oxford Pol is another step on the way to strengthening our distribution channels. Oxford Pol is a partner with multiple years’ experience with the medical industry, as well as high-level selling competencies which translate into good results in selling sophisticated medical devices. In Poland, the reseller has conducted over 250 installations of Exercise Test systems, and sold about 500 Holter sets, and over 2,000 cardiotocographs.
