Nestmedic S.A. expands its cooperation with a hospital in Biała Podlaska

Pregnabit – a telemedical CTG system and a flagship project of Nestmedic systematically increases its presence at Polish hospitals. Another 10 devices will soon find their place in the Voivoideship Specialist Hospital in Biała Podlaska. At the same time, the Company is conducting talks and managing pilot implementations of its mobile CTG device with other healthcare facilities and entities, both in Poland and abroad.

Nestmedic has expanded its cooperation with the Voivodeship Specialist Hospital in Biała Podlaska. The facility has just purchased another 10 Pregnabit devices. Until now, for over a year, the patients have had 6 devices for mobile CTG at their disposal. The cooperation was very successful, as the system has improved prevention by early detection of health threats while adding to the sense of security and comfort among pregnant women.

The Voivodeship Specialist Hospital in Biała Podlaska is one of five voivodeship hospitals and, at the same time, the largest diagnostic and treatment centre in the northern part of the Lubelskie Voivodeship. The hospital provides specialist medical care to the region’s population of approx. 380,000 people. The hospital is committed to improving the standard of care for pregnant women. The facility implements the national programme of coordinated care for pregnant women (KOC). The programme provides for an extensive and comprehensive care for expecting mothers, including during delivery and 6 weeks after birth.

Our innovative solution addresses the needs of modern healthcare, as evidenced by the expansion of our cooperation with the hospital in Biała Podlaska. This is a consequence of over a year’s presence of Pregnabit devices at the facility, preceded by successful pilot tests on site. Positive feedback about our mobile CTG system from both patients and medical staff confirms that our mission is the right one. Since the beginning of 2019 until the end of October, 2690 tests were performed in Poland with the Pregnabit system. For comparison, throughout 2018, as many as 2317 tests were performed, comments dr n. med. Patrycja Wizińska-Socha, Member of Nestmedic Management Board.

At the same time, the Company is in talks with other medical establishments, which may translate into more contracts, and thus further increase the number of CTG examinations performed in Poland.
