On September 15, part of an open-door day organized by Medfemina Health Center based in Wrocław, the Pregnabit team presented their innovative teleCTG system. On that day, the center was visited by many women, both their patients as well as people interested in its activities. The Pregnabit presentation was seen by approximately 100 people. The device and the telemedical service that comes in the package attracted a lot of attention. Understandably, among pregnant women in particular. The Pregnabit system has been available in Medfemina for a couple of weeks. We hope that this first-hand experience with the way the device works and the scope of services offered by the Telemonitoring Medical Center as well as user-friendliness of the device will make it easier for both the clinicians and patients to use the device, also in their homes.

On September 13, a formal gala took place during which participants of the capital market of Central and Eastern Europe were awarded the CEE Capital Markets Awards. We are happy to announce that Nestmedic is the winner in the “Listing of Year” category. Announced at the InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw (Poland), the Awards distinguished publicly-listed companies who are spearheading the dynamic and fast-paced changes in the CEE region. Nomination in 19 categories were received by companies from Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Lithuania. The winners were chosen by a jury made of representatives of investment funds, stock exchanges, banks and industry media. – The goal of the CEE Capital Market Awards is to attract more global investors’ attention to the CEE region and to shine a light on the best companies, advisors and institutional investors involved in the CEE capital market for the contribution they make to its development. Nestmedic’s IPO and entering the NewConnect market in June was another step in our long-term development strategy, therefore we are very pleased that capital market professionals recognized our effort and named us the winners in the Listing of Year category. Not only were we recognized for our IPO, but also we turned out to be a significant and valued player, very likely to become the telemedical market leader, not only in Poland but also abroad. This is extremely important for us, especially now that we are starting to sell the Pregnabit system in Poland and look for resellers abroad, says Barbara Załęska, a Board member and Business Development Director in Nestmedic. This is the third time that CEE Capital Markets Awards has been held, and another is planned for September 2018.

Nestmedic is building the Telemonitoring Medical Center to serve clients and patients using teleCTG Soon the ongoing analysis of tests – done by women in their homes – will be performed by our own staff who will replace an outside subcontractor.

In the Telemonitoring Medical Center, qualified medical staff, additionally trained in the Pregnabit system, will handle and monitor the incoming teleCTG data. Build-up internally, the Center is to start its operations as early as in mid-November.

For us, our own Telemonitoring Medical Center means another step in the company developent strategy.

– With the telecenter being part of our structures, we will have even greater control over the level of service and the experience and competencies of staff. The quality of its work will be reviewed both from medical perspective as well as technical and organizational ones. For a couple of weeks now, the new staff have been being trained, says Ligia Kornowska, the director of the Telemonitoring Medical Center.

In spite of ongoing transformation of the organizational model, the tasks of the staff in the center remain unchanged. Their main responsibilities include monitoring, ongoing analysis, fast response, and establish a presumptive diagnosis via the Internet. The saved readings and CTG interpretations performed for all the patients and the devices assigned to them are constantly available for the physician and midwife supervising the pregnancy thanks to a dedicated panel on the Pregnabit Platform.

The Telemonitoring Medical Center is not only a team of specialized clinicians. Their work is supported with specially designed algorithms which based on the results, history and other available data organize the schedule, ensuring additional security, speed and a high quality of analysis. Thanks to them cases that need special attention are prioritized to be analyzed first.

At the beginning, the Center will be staffed by several to a dozen or so personnel, however, we are expecting that the team will grow following the growth of the distribution network of the device. The number of patients using the services of the Telemonitoring Medical Center is systematically growing.
